As soon as he said their name out loud, I recognized my best friend’s name
All throughout High School, I was friends with a girl named Beth. We clicked in the 7th grade and we were best friends all the way until graduation. Best decided to move out of state so she could start a career as a singer and dancer. I stayed at home to take care of my mother and my father. I worked lots of different jobs until I found a full-time position as the manager of a marijuana dispensary. I absolutely love the job. It is a lot of fun and never boring. I receive a hefty discount on medical marijuana supplies. I’ve been using medical marijuana since it was legalized in this state. It’s one of the reasons why I thought it would be interesting and fun to work in the medical marijuana dispensary. We often have busy nights when there aren’t enough drivers for all of the deliveries. Last Friday night was one of those nights and I had to make a couple of deliveries in my car. One of the deliveries was downtown to a hotel. We frequently deliver to this hotel, but I didn’t have a name on the order. When I got to the hotel, I told the front desk that I had a delivery for the customer in room 238. He gave me the name of the person before I walked to the room. As soon as he said their name out loud, I recognized my best friend’s name. She answered the door and I nearly fainted. We hadn’t seen each other in five years, and I wanted to know every detail that I missed.
