The worst weather still is yet to come

I called a tow truck to get me out of the ditch

It’s only the middle of October and the roads are already hazardous. I had a difficult time getting to work this morning and I didn’t want to deliver any order after I made it to the dispensary. I was supposed to take deliveries out that day, but I told my boss that I was unable to make any deliveries with my car. She became annoyed quickly and threatened to send me home. I didn’t want to lose the pay or the hours, and I didn’t want to get written up. I decided to take the orders that were ready for delivery. My car was slipping and sliding all over the road. I drove to the first of the three marijuana deliveries. The customer gave me a $20 tip. It was a nice gesture, especially since her driveway had not been shoveled. I barely made it out of there without getting stuck. The worst weather is still yet to come, and I’m already having trouble with marijuana deliveries. I got stuck on the second delivery and I had to call the shop to request help. My boss got upset when I told her that I was not going to be able to deliver the final marijuana items. I called a tow truck to get me out of the ditch. While I was waiting for the tow truck to arrive, someone from the marijuana dispensary came to pick up the items. It was one of my co-workers in their truck. He made the rest of the deliveries and didn’t have any problems getting stuck in the snow.
