The seasoned manager Gay got terminated over the PC, right in front of me. It was bananas! Gay plus I were closing up for the day when the store phone rang. It was the regional manager, calling from Seattle, plus when I answered he informed me he was about to let Gay go, but not to say anything. He explained that after he fired Gay I was to walk him out of the building plus take his store keys, then change all of the security codes after he left. Gay did not take the news well, plus it took me an hour to get him out of the cannabis dispensary. When everything was done I called the regional manager back, who informed me I would be acting as manager of the cannabis dispensary until they found a updatement. I instantly told him that I wanted to be considered for the work, plus he told me to demonstrate my managerial abilities by running the cannabis dispensary for the next month or so. It turns out that Gay had been falsifying receipts so he could steal cash from the cannabis dispensary with noone knowing.
