For the past numerous weeks, I have been laboring at a medical plus recreational cannabis dispensary. The task is extremely fun plus interesting. I get to meet lots of interesting plus weird people plus I get to sample the latest products that come through the doors. Every now plus then, there is an issue in the dispensary, but just a small number of weeks ago, the security guard had to get involved in a situation that was escalating truly suddenly. A lady ordered more than 2 items from the website plus she chose the pickup option. When she arrived at the dispensary to option up her order, it was not ready yet. All of us send a message to our shoppers when their order is ready for pickup. The lady was distraught plus frustrated because her items were not ready plus prepared when she arrived. She started getting loud with the budtender behind the counter. I was on the other side of the room plus I heard the lady start yelling. The security officer suddenly came from behind his desk plus stepped in between the budtender plus the customer. Security wasn’t messing around with the lady. He told her to calm down or leave the building. He said the word in a truly stern plus strong voice. The customer knew he wasn’t joking around. She calmed down plus patiently waited for the staff member to get all of the items together. She did not make any more trouble the rest of the time she was there. I doubt the lady will step into the dispensary again after that interaction.
