I was in quite a pickle after the fender bender

Last Friday afternoon, I started my shift at the cannabis dispensary and one of my first delivery orders went to a downtown address.

I recognized the address immediately. The address of the house was just a couple of blocks away from the football stadium. That was not a game day, so I wasn’t particularly worried about traffic. I did not realize that it was the weekend of the cultural events fair. Downtown traffic was a nightmare and people were walking all over the streets, sidewalks, and in the middle of the road. It was hard enough to avoid hitting a pedestrian, and the other drivers on the road did not make things any easier. One particular driver was not watching for pedestrians. The guy swerved at the last moment and slammed into the side of my SUV. Everything in the box in the front of my car went flying when I was hit. I tried to gather all of the Cannabis supplies as quickly as possible. I was in a lot of pain in my neck and my back. The car sustained a great deal of damage. The other insurance company is going to pay for all of the damages, but I don’t have a vehicle while the damages are being repaired. I am very thankful that my parents offered to let me use their car. I really can’t afford to miss out on a few weeks of work, especially now that I have medical bills from the accident. I can keep up with the bills as long as I can continue to work as a marijuana delivery driver.
