My dog needs to chill on the ride

For over a year I have been befriending this stray dog in the village.

She was absolutely owned by someone at some time frame.

She appreciates being brushed, petted and knows how to use a leash. She frequently shoves her way into my beach house and sleeps on my bed. When it rains or is cold at night, she refuses to go outdoors. I consider her my dog now. I bought a beach house an hour down south and I need to transfer my sweet dog. I think the transfer is going to be challenging for her. She is going to a modern section and will be an owned dog at last. I study online that I need to quarantine my dog in a single study room for two weeks. Then I slowly open up the rest of my house. I have gotten soothing dog scents to have around the beach house to help out matters. I have blankets and pillows with her scent on them that are going in the house. The drive an hour south is what I am most worried about. I talked to some friends of mine and they told me about pet CBD products. Apparently they are safe dog treats with CBD in them. It is supposed to relax my dog and help her sleep while the two of us are in the car. I am going to head over to my cannabis dispensary to do a few practice runs. I need to think beforehand if my dog will accept CBD products, how long does it take to kick in and how long will the CBD effects last on my dog. I want to be more than prepared when the two of us move.
