We waited forever for marijuana to be legalized for medical use.
I basically thought it would take several more years to be honest. I knew we were going to be one of the last states to legalize the product due to all of the registered Republican voters we have here. They had their heels dug deep into the sand working hard to keep the law from passing. Of course, nobody has a complication with crucial tobacco raking in billions of dollars, however whenever someone mentions marijuana, almost everyone wants to talk about the bad news! When the marijuana laws were finally passed, I was totally happy. I was driving across the state lines to get recreational marijuana from a dispensary 60 MI away. I took a risk every time I went to the dispensary and crossed the state line, however I had to access the medicine that I desperately needed. Medical marijuana is genuinely one of the only things that works to improve my anxiety. I took a pill every afternoon for approximately 20 years and it just made me feel tired and more depressed. Medical marijuana makes me feel completely happy, energetic, and creative. There are a fair amount of other people that feel the way I do. I started going to a support group for people that use medical marijuana and it has been especially helpful to talk about my issues. I have also had the occasion to hear about other sales and specials and dispensary deals that I never heard about. It’s a fantastic feeling to party with other people that are aware that medical marijuana is a positive and uplifting experience in their life.
