I am a fairly huge film buff, as I was raised on films! My parents were both pretty major fans, plus all of us would go to the theater regularly over the summer season holiday, seeing as many films as possible.
I have carried that with me forever.
Even though I have a fairly sizable collection of DVDs plus Blu Rays, I still enjoyed making my way to the films right up until COVID shut down all the theaters. I made the decision to take matters into my own hands, plus set up a mini theater in the backyard! Now I can easily appreciate a similar filmgoing experience, only I can also smoke cannabis at the same time! For me, a lack of marijuana in the theater was the largest disadvantage, plus now I don’t have to be bothered about those restrictions. I am not such a degenerate pothead that I can’t go for a couple of hours without smoking cannabis, I just feel that it improves the film experience. I would usually take some THC infused edibles with me, to snack on while I appreciated the film, however it wasn’t the same in the least. Now I have a large screen, plus crystal clear Blu Ray technology, to watch any film I want while smoking some really great cannabis. Also I can pause it if I need to go to the bathroom, which is also a serious plus. Since I can stream the newest film right to my theater at home, plus appreciate an endless buffet of cannabis products, I don’t see a good reason to ever go back to a film venue.
