The gov’t needs to stop changing the cannabis laws

I am not such a fan when the people use the democratic process to make swings to state or federal laws, only for those wishes to be squashed by legislators making an attempt to exert the will of their financial donors. My state has a constitution that permits voters to create amendments if they can get over 60% approval in the election. Lawmakers are supposed to abide by these constitutional amendments since they are the direct will of the people. Of course, I keep seeing the opposite take place here as every one of us have overly conservative politicians who are too reserved towards change. At the least, allow a discourse to take place where every one of us actually has the right to discuss the sheer opening of change, if you’re going to insist that every one of us need to slow down for a single reason or another. Now they’re using whatever power they can to make it harder for medical marijuana patients to actually acquire the medicine that they desperately are in need of. The people I was with and I didn’t have rules on allotments before regarding the amount of milligrams of THC that you’re allowed to purchase in a period of 70 days. Now the conservative “small government” regime has the desire to make it so marijuana doctors have to limit the quantity of marijuana that they can prescribe to their patients. It’s silly when you think about a “small government” party becoming a party of anti-democratic autocracy. I just want them to get their hands off our medical marijuana products. I respect their values if they are able to quit pretending to actually know better than our doctors about things that they’re not trained to even understand. It’s an insult and an outrage for sure.
