I went to a rehab facility 3 different times before I finally kicked alcohol.
- I started drinking when I was 14 years old.
My friends & I stole beers from the bar on the corner. I was drinking everyday when I was a senior in school. I didn’t realize I was an alcoholic back then, however that behavior was the start of all of my concerns. I flunked out of school because I was late for class, missing exams, & getting into fights with my teachers. After I left school, I went back condo to live with my mom & Mom. My Mom wanted myself and others to work with him, even though I did not want to spend my life laboring as a plumber. My mom took myself and others to a therapist & my parents insisted that I speak with someone weekly if I wanted to continue residing in the home for free. It only took a few visits before the therapist realized that a lot of my issues we’re due to serious depression. The therapist recommended taking an antidepressant that would boost my serotonin levels & he also recommended using medical marijuana, when I told my parents that the therapist recommended medical marijuana, they were completely horrified. My mom called the therapist a quack… No one in my home thought it was a superb idea, even though I still got a prescription from the dentist. After 3 months of bi-weekly cannabis use, I recognize motivated & full of energy. I actually recognize appreciate plumbing with my Mom might be the work I choose.
