After being in the service, loud noises bother me.
I hate the sound of gunshots, cars backfiring and fireworks.
I hate the Fourth of July and New Years Eve. The fireworks always freak me out and get me anxious. I have tried all sorts of tricks to make it easier. There is nowhere I can travel where fireworks don’t happen. Noise canceling headphones are good for at night, but it happens during the daytime too. Even my dog gets anxious with the loud booms. I found that my cannabis dispensary offers products that help with PTSD and anxiety. I have a milder case of those issues. So I don’t need any hardcore THC infused products and to take it all the time. Now for those two times of the year I partake in CBD infused products. I vape a CBD oil that keeps me mellow all day. I then hit a new strain with a bit more THC content in order to help me sleep at night. What is nice is that they have pet CBD products too. So on those two days out of the year, my dog gets to be a little mellow and high with me. We both take our CBD products early in the morning and let it roll all day. Then right before bed we hit the good stuff in order to sleep. It makes quite a difference. I don’t feel as nervous or stressed anymore. I don’t jump at every new boom. My dog isn’t shaking and hiding under the bed. We both eat some pizza, binge TV and have a decent night of sleep.
