Gray was the outdated employer, who got fired over the iphone, right in front of me.
It was bananas! Gray and I were closing down for the day when the iphone rang.
It was the regional employer, calling from Washington, and when I answered he informed me that he was about to fire Gray, but to not say anything. He explained that after he fired Gray I was to escort him out of the building and take his keys, then change the security code after he left; Gray did not take the news very well, and it took me an hour to get him out of the cannabis dispensary. After everything was complete I called the regional employer back, who informed me I was acting employer of the cannabis dispensary until they hired a substitute. I instantly said that I wanted to be considered for the work, and he commanded me to demonstrate my abilities by running the cannabis dispensary for the next week or so. It turns out that Gray had been falsifying receipts so he could steal currency from his own cannabis dispensary without anyone knowing. Obviously he wasn’t as smart as he thought he was, and now he was fired and the dispensary owners were going to press felony charges against him! I went to job the next day and tried to do everything I could to make the cannabis dispensary look and feel great. I only had a few afternoons to impress the owners, so I started to push sales, and brainstorming some new promotions to get new clients into my cannabis dispensary. Wish me luck!
