I’m not sure what I was expecting the first time I walked into the marijuana dispensary, although I really wasn’t expecting to smell the marijuana even before getting through the doors.
The rich smell of the marijuana was so overpowering that I was sure I would get high before I even got back outside.
It’s not even like I have a lot of experience with the smell of the marijuana, however if you smelled it once, you never forget that smell. When I got in there, I commented to the budtender about the powerful smell that was outside. She thought that it was funny as well as said that she is got used to it and then didn’t even notice anymore. I didn’t suppose that the scent of marijuana was something that I would never get used to, because it was so pungent. That was the smell that any long-term marijuana smoker would equate with their youth. Even though our older sister Bess used marijuana back in the 60s, I just didn’t see any sense in using it. If she was alive today, they would be shocked to find out that I was using medical marijuana. I guess, if I am being honest, I’m a little surprised at myself for using medical marijuana. All of this aside, I’m thrilled that I can purchase legal marijuana for medical purposes. Over the last year or 2, medical marijuana has been the only thing that has given myself and others the ability to hop out of bed in the day as well as keep moving all day long. I don’t even want to suppose where I would be right now, if it hadn’t been for medicinal marijuana.
