I was basically caught flat-footed this last time, I am the first to admit that… I knew this COVID thing was not a great thing, but I never expected such a severe quarantine to come down on the city.
When I went to bed, things looked awful, but when I woke up the lockdown was in effect! Everybody was supposed to stay inside except in case of emergency, and even if the people I was with and I did leave, there was no place to go to be honest, because all local companies had been closed… At the time I had extremely little food in the place, and I was almost totally out of cannabis.
That was my actual day to go to the cannabis dispensary and get enough for the week, and I kicked myself for not going the morning before! Because cannabis is available to most people these afternoons, I had gotten out of the habit of stockpiling it. Well, let me tell you I learned a pricey lesson, and I promised myself to never again take cannabis for granted. It didn’t take long for the cannabis dispensary to switch up its company model and start offering delivery services and curbside pick up options also! Now there was a sizable difference to my smoking habits, in particular that I would pull out a gram from every jar of cannabis I brought home, and set it aside. I had a cool Mason jar with a vacuum sealed lid, and I used it to store my extra cannabis, to save it for a rainy day. A few months later and my cannabis “savings” jar has accumulated twenty several grams in it, and growing!
