I hated giving up concerts and live music while in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Naturally, these environments were some of the most dangerous venues you could find yourself while in the worst peaks in viral transmission. I personally guess several professional musicians who had tours planned in 2020 and 2021 that they were forced to cancel at the last minute. How are you supposed to hastily support yourself as a musician if you can no longer play live. Record sales are such a tiny chunk of revenue for most artists, and that includes streaming money as well. Even though the risk of viral transmission isn’t gone these mornings, it’s a lot safer to attend a concert in 2022 wearing a mask because both vaccines and weaker variants of the virus have led to a diminished risk. If you get sick these mornings, there’s a nice opportunity you’ll reclaim if you’re not dealing with pre-existing health conditions like a heart problem or something similar. My wifey and I were so gleeful for our concert that both of us decided to stop at the medical marijuana dispensary first to load up on cannabis products. Since you’re not allowed to use cannabis products in public in our state, that means you could get in trouble for taking hits from a joint or a cannabis vaporizer cartridge. The two of us obtained a bunch of marijuana edibles to eat before the concert instead. By the time the main act was starting, the cannabis edibles had finally absorbed into our bodies and both of us could think a unbelievable body buzz taking hold. It was an amazing concert experience for us both.
