I loved the way that marijuana made me feel. I didn’t have as much stress or anxiety and I slept every night at bedtime. Since I was little, I have had trouble sleeping at night. I often have insomnia that keeps me awake for hours. When I was younger, my parents gave me a sleeping pill and melatonin. I don’t prefer to take those things as an adult, because I think that they make me feel very drowsy the next day. I have a hard time concentrating at work when I take a sleeping pill at night. Marijuana does not have the same effect. I don’t feel groggy the next day or hungover and I don’t have any problems staying awake. I started using medical marijuana at bedtime, but now I regularly use medical marijuana throughout the day. I have found it to be generally helpful for relieving stress and anxiety. In the morning before I go to work, I usually have some type of edible. The edible lasts most of the day so I don’t have to medicate again. Sometimes I will go out to my car and smoke a joint at lunch time, but only if I am feeling super stressed or anxious. At bedtime, I smoke an actual marijuana joint that has an Indica strain. Indica strains are perfect for bedtime and use at night. Indica strains tend to make me feel very tired and drowsy and relaxed. At the end of a hard day, I prefer to roll up a joint of OG Kush or Skywalker OG.
