When I have a small dosage of THC at night, I sleep much better.
I suffer from insomnia and I have since I was very small.
When I was in high school, I had trouble sleeping at night. Even when I played sports and didn’t get to bed until 11:00 or 12:00 at night, I still lay there for hours before I could finally fall asleep. I found myself waking up before the alarm ring and on a good night I would get 3 hours of sleep. My parents were worried about me so they took me to the doctor. The doctor said that I could try a few different sleep aids that were over the counter and a couple of prescriptions. None of those things work very well. I barely made it through my first year of college. One of my roommates had marijuana one night and he told me to smoke some of the marijuana joint, because I would sleep better. I didn’t think I would be sleeping much and I laughed for a long time. The joint tasted horrible, but I got really high. My friend and I left for a while, but eventually I passed out on my bed. I honestly don’t know what time it was when I passed out, but it was after 9:00 when I woke up and I completely slept through my 7:00 a.m. art history class. That was the first time in my life that I remember getting more than 8 hours of sleep at one time.
