I work for a marijuana dispensary that is located downtown. The place is one of the only shops with a lounge and seating area. We offer in-store shopping, pick up, and delivery services. The old dispensary location was very busy due to the location. We got a lot of foot traffic to the shop because of our proximity to the water. I liked the location and I could get clam chowder any time I was working for free. The owner of the crab and seafood place wanted to get my number. A few months ago, the owner of the dispensary bought a much larger building that is several miles down the strip. It takes me about 15 more minutes to get to the dispensary. I hate sitting in traffic and going through stop light after stop light, but I’m not going to quit my job just because the dispensary moved 15 minutes away. The new dispensary building is much larger. It’s still in an area that has heavy foot traffic, but now we are much closer to the highway which makes it easier for the drivers to get in and out of the shop quickly. We moved a couple of weeks ago and since then we have been busy receiving shipments of new products every couple of days. We moved all of the old inventory to the new building, but the space is larger and that means we can carry a lot more products. The website used to have about 500 items and now the store has at least 2,000 items that are available for purchase any day of the week.
