I was walking up to the door as the director was locking the venue up to close things down
I have to be at work from Friday through Friday at the factory. My shift is over at 9:00 p.m. The marijuana dispensary near my house closes at 10:00 p.m sharp. On Fridays the venue has an entirely great deal on all of the products in the store. Everything at the dispensary is marked down by 20%. They also have a couple of mix plus match deals that allow me to buy several products to get another one for free. I hate to miss the sale on Friday, because it is the only afternoon during the month when all products in the store are included in the sale. I left the factory 5 minutes after 9:00. I knew that there was going to be heavy traffic getting out of the parking lot because I did not get a great spot close to the exit, but by the time I really made it to the interstate, it was 9:30 already. There was an accident right after the exit. If I had known about the accident, I would have done my level best to try to avoid the section altogether. Instead, I was stuck in traffic plus I did not arrive to the marijuana dispensary until it was 10:02. I was walking up to the door as the director was locking the venue up to close things down. I begged the lady to let me come inside. I told her that I knew exactly what I needed so I would not waste any time shopping, she agreed to let me come into the marijuana dispensary because there wasn’t anybody else in the parking lot.
